Adoption Information

Our goal is to match each rescue animal with a home that is prepared for its species-specific needs.

Choose an Animal

Browse the animals currently available in our Rescue. Each profile includes the adoption fee, minimum enclosure recommendation, and public notes from our team.

Apply to Adopt

Submit your contact information, preferred pickup/shipping method, a description of the habitat, and a current habitat photo. Our adoption team will review the setup.

Review & Approval

We may approve the application, request a modification to the setup, or decline it. An animal is not held for an applicant until an application is approved.

In-Store Pickup

Approved in-store adoptions are held for up to 7 days so you have time to complete the adoption at Snake Discovery.

Shipping

Approved shipped adoptions may be held for up to 14 days. Live animals are normally shipped on Wednesdays for Thursday arrival. Shipping is currently a flat $50, and weather or holiday conditions may require a delay or hub pickup.

Availability can change. Animals remain available for applications until an applicant is approved. If another applicant is approved first, other active applications for that animal may be closed.
